Eating healthy can be easy and fun!

 

Try out these kid-friendly recipes at home.

 

(you may need help from an adult)

Peanut Butter Banana Popsicles

 

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup milk

3 ripe bananas

1 tablespoon honey

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Add all indredients to blender. Blend until smooth. Add to popsicle mold (or ice tray). Freeze until solid. Enjoy!

Homemade Pizza

 

2 Pita breads

1 cup tomato paste

2 cups shredded cheese

2 slices ham (chopped)

fresh basil leaves (optional)

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread tomato paste on pita breads. Sprinkle cheese on top of tomato paste. Add ham on top of cheese. Also top with fresh basil leaves. Bake in oven for 5-10 minutes. Cut and enjoy!
