How much should

I exercise?

60MINUTES every day

Most of this 60 minutes should be aerobic activities, such as running, riding your bicycle, playing tag with friends, etc.  Muscle and bone strengthening activities should each be done at least 3 days every week.
 
All 60 minutes do not have to be at once, they can be spread out through the whole day.
Breaking up the 60 minutes into 10 minute pieces makes the goal easier to meet.
 
Examples:
Eric is a 10 year old boy who met his 60 minutes of physical activity one day by walking his dog 3 times for 10 minutes each (30 minutes total), playing tag with his friends for 10 minutes, and riding his bicycle for 20 minutes.
 
Allison is a 13 year old girl who met her 60 minutes of physical activity one day by doing 30 minutes of gymnastics, walking to a friends house (10 minutes), and dancing for 20 minutes at a slumber party.
 
Patrick is a 17 year old boy who met his 60 minutes of physical activity one day by riding his skateboard to and from school (10 minutes), lifting weights for 20 minutes, wrestling with his younger brother for 10 minutes, and going for a run in his neighborhood (20 minutes).
