What should I eat?
There are food groups that make up a healthy diet.

This plate is a guide to healthy eating. It shows you how each food group fits into daily meals. Half of your plate should be fruits
and vegetables, with more vegetables than fruits. The other half should be grains and protein, with a little more grain than protein. You should also have one serving of dairy with every meal.
To find out how much of each food group you should eat every day, please go to
FRUITS
strawberries, bananas, apples, kiwi, peaches, etc.
VEGETABLES
broccoli, carrots, lettuce, mushrooms, onions, etc.
PROTEIN
beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, tofu, pork, beans, etc.
GRAINS
bread, oats, rice, pasta, cereal, etc.
DAIRY
milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, ice cream, etc.
